Photos

A diner searches a cuisine or just “restaurants near me”, sees a map and a row of places with photos and star ratings, and picks. In fact, they may never visit your website. Whether your listing shows the right hours, a current menu and photos that make people hungry decides the evening.
Scarborough’s food is searched by what it is: Tamil, Hakka, Caribbean, dim sum, halal. Those words carry enormous demand, so a listing that does not use them, in its category, its menu and its description, is hidden from the people looking for exactly that.
Search demand
Canadian suggestion data. Cuisine, dietary need and opening hours, usually combined.
Half of these searches end in open now or open late. Google answers them from the hours on your profile, so a restaurant with missing or wrong hours is simply left out. The same also goes for halal, vegetarian options, takeout and delivery: they are attributes and menu details on the listing. Getting those right costs nothing and is the single most effective thing a restaurant can do.
What diners look at
Before anyone reads a word about you.
Clear, well-lit pictures of your actual dishes, plus the dining room if you have one. Recent owner photos give a diner a reason to tap, while a listing with only blurry customer uploads does not.
Diners skim the newest handful of reviews rather than the overall count. A calm reply to a complaint is read by everyone who comes later.
A menu that can be read on the listing, with prices, and hours that include holidays. By contrast, a PDF menu on a slow website loses people.
The work
Category, cuisine, halal and dietary attributes, dine-in, takeout and delivery, all set accurately.
Your menu entered as text, so dishes can be found in search, not locked inside an image.
Regular hours, holiday hours and special closures updated before they apply.
Menu, hours, location, phone and ordering links, built so they load quickly on a phone.
Every review answered in your voice, especially the complaints.
A separate page for catering and large orders, since people search for and price them differently.
Done carefully
Every trade has its own rules and its own ways to get burned. These are the limits we work inside by default.
Diners can tell a stock photo from your kitchen in half a second.
Restaurant marketing runs on appetite, but also on trust. We use photographs of your own food, describe dishes accurately, and only mark a listing halal, vegetarian or gluten-free if you confirm it is. Toronto’s DineSafe inspection results are public, so anything we write assumes customers can check.

How we work
Four steps, in order. You always know which one we are on and what it is for.
We check your site, your Google Business Profile and where you rank from several points across Scarborough, then show you the gaps.
We choose the searches worth winning in your neighbourhoods and assign each one to a single page, so no two pages compete.
Profile work, technical fixes, content and citations, done in order of impact so the biggest gains land first.
A monthly report on rankings, traffic, calls and forms, with next month’s plan written in plain English.
Questions
A simple one, yes, because it gives Google a source for your menu and details, lets you take direct orders without commission, and is the only online presence you fully own.
Reply once, politely and specifically, and invite the person to contact you before anything else. Then keep earning good ones. A measured reply often impresses readers more than the complaint puts them off.
Only if it is true and you can show certification or sourcing when asked. If it is, say so everywhere: the attribute, the menu and the description.
Yes, so use the plaza or mall name and your unit consistently. People search by plaza, so being clearly tied to it helps.
With SEO for restaurants, correcting hours, category and menu can change how often you appear within a few weeks. Review volume and photos, however, build over months.
